The pond elements series allows you to build a peaceful, serene, fish pond tile mural, any shape or size, in your own bathroom. By combining the various elements, Great Blue Heron, Largemouth Bass, Sunfish, Lily Pad set, Cattails, Frog and Open Water art tiles, you can create a scene tailored to fit your space, low and horizontal or tall and vertical. The rich green glaze covers a subtle texture embossed into the body of the porcelain art tiles, which is accentuated by varying thicknesses of the glaze. The result is a surface that looks as wet and lush as the still surface of a country pond. You"ll want to touch it to be sure it's not real!

Arts and Crafts Tile Mural

Now you can design a custom arts and crafts tile mural to fit your bathroom or fireplace surround. By combining the various elements in the pond life tile series, you can create a mural that is custom shaped to fit your bathroom or fireplace surround. All tiles in the series are 6" x 6" and are compatible with each other. The Heron and Cattail sets are vertically oriented elements, while the bass and frog are horizontal. The Lily set, Bluegill and Open Water tiles, can be used to fill in the spaces surrounding. Make your pond wide and shallow, or tall and deep!

These tiles are made using the same process popularized by arts and crafts tile makers in the late 1800's and early 1900's. Each tile is embossed with a very shallow texture, which causes the transparent but tinted glaze to pool in the recesses and recede from the edges, creating a  beautiful illusion of depth. As with all tile at Living Walls Tile, each tile is pressed by hand using clay and glaze that are mixed in house. It's real tile, handmade in Missoula, Montana.

The arts and crafts tile pond life series can also be framed and simply hung as wall art.
